The report of lost dogs
The journey starts when one of our subscribers urgently calls to inform about an abandoned pair of mother dog and baby dog in a large construction field. We rushed to their rescue on an instant. Parking the car in this huge field, we cought a glimpse of them from a distance.
We proceeded towards the innocent creatures with some dog food and a bowl. They joyfully came towards us with their tails dancing in the air with excitement. The second we served them with food, the mother started eating it. The kid dog was roaming here and there while it’s mother take some nutritions in it’s body. They are a family forever indeed.
Were they abandoned?
The dogs were domestic. So the question is, were they abandoned or lost? We were going to go to the roots of it. We carried the puppy towards the bowl of food but it was more interested in walking. The duet followed us to our car and we let them take the trunk of the car happily. We decided to take them to the vet.
Once we reached, we took out them both out of the trunk and they were excited as ever, once again. We took the puppy in our hands and let the mother walk beside us, tied with a collar and leash ofcourse.
In the vet, a puppy with it’s owner greeted us with excitement, tied in a red collar and leash. It was trying to break free by scratching it’s paws on the fine tiles of the vet. We were patient enough to wait for our turn.
A beautiful bond was created in the spare time between the dogs and us which is going to last in our memories for eternity. And with that white puppy too who liked the mother’s face before saying goodbye, not ready to leave yet.
The checkup begins
The checkup started soon after they left. We tested the mom first. Unfortunately, she had ticks in her fur. The baby had some too. It took a lot of time to remove all the visible ticks with the help of some tools.
During their treatment, we posted on social media in search of their owners. We were desperately hoping that they were just lost and not abandoned to face all the trouble in this huge world alone.
The puppy was quite healthy regardless of its size. We gave her some medicine to remove all the pesticides.
The mom was heavy too. Once the process was over we bidded our goodbyes. We wondered what name we should grant them, considering they were both girls.
For the time social media was doing it’s job to find the owner, we decided to have some fun in the park.
They took their time marking the ground and sniffing away here and there. We threw their waste away along with some other trashes dumped in the park.
If the ending is happy, the story was happy.
Later that day we heard from their owner. He was delighted and relieved to be met with his pets again. After returning them to the grateful owner, we started our next task. Apparently, another family wanted to adopt. It was an eventful day with a new member of family.
